This couple. This place. This whole adventure. Melissa + Lauren are the absolute sweetest ever. When they first reached out to me, they wanted to elope in Canada, then it became Tahoe Lake, then NEW ZEALAND. So at first, I tried so hard to not be super stoked on New Zealand, but as the date got closer, it became more and more real.

As much as I love traveling for weddings, I always miss my man Dusty, but luckily he was able to come on this trip!! The night we met up with Melissa + Lauren, we went out to dinner, and went grocery shopping. And we hit it off!! It was like we’d been friends for years! They invited us to stay with them at their epic airbnb near Karekare Beach and we are so glad we did.

The morning of their Elopement, it was so low key. Lauren was making herself a flower crown, and Melissa was getting her makeup done. It was off and on raining, which meant we had the most epic views of rainbows over the ocean.

All day we explored, laughed, raced the rain, and had the absolute best day.

This will forever be one of my favorite days.
