Did I ever think I would shoot a wedding in the complete dark?! NO! When Reilly and Kris reached out to me and asked me to photograph their wedding I was so excited. They were set on the boho desert cactus vibes and Lost Dutchman State Park in Phoenix, Arizona was the place to be! They got married in front of the Superstition Mountains and WOW was it gorgeous. If you read my first sentence you were probably like WHAT!? Wedding in the dark?! Reilly had a vision of getting married at sunset with the only thing lighting up the night was tons and tons of candles. It was literally the most beautiful thing ever. Leading up to the wedding Reilly let me know that she had found out she was pregnant and they were SO excited. She needed to make a couple changes, one being…her DRESS. She sold her previous one and headed to Etsy where she got a custom made one that looked almost identical but even more beautiful AND for a fraction of the price. You guys KNOWWW I love a good deal! Their ceremony was so intimate and special. It was put together and officiated by their family. Something that I will never forget is that all the bridesmaids and groomsmen said a little something during the ceremony and then when R&K had their first kiss as a married couple the bridal party SHOWERED them in champagne. It was EPIC!!!!!!! We then headed for yummy food and drinks at Culinary Dropout, in Gilbert Arizona, where the comfort food was FLOWIINN and mama wasn’t mad! This was such a personal wedding and I just want to bring more awareness that people need to jump on the train in doing what YOU want and what makes YOU happy! I hope you loved this wedding as much as I did. Take me BACK!!!!
Ps. She got her dress from this amazing designer: https://saldanavintage.com/
