These babes started their day off by getting ready at the Lodges on Vashon, which is a suuuper gorgeous property on Vashon Island. It features tons of modern styling + decor and sits right in the middle of that PNW greenery you dream of when you think of Washington!!

C + A’s unique wedding on the Vashon Island ferry

I still can’t get over how unique Chelsea + Aaron made their wedding day!! They wanted to elope on the ferry (you can’t get more unique than that), so we got on and took the ferry from Vashon Island to Seattle to pick up their friends + family! And as we went back to Vashon Island, they got married in front of their loved ones. WOW, it was the sweetest thing ever and I think I’m officially in love with ferry elopements now – who’s next?!

After the ferry ride, we snuck off to the forest in their vintage car for some cute AF couples portraits!

This was seriously one of the most amazing fall days – what gets better than eloping on a ferry with your closest friends/fam + driving your vintage car around the cutest island?! Micro weddings are so rad and soooo full of possibilities to make your day intentional, personal, and special to you & your babe!

About Vashon Island

In case you’re feeling inspired + want to learn more about Vashon Island for your big day (or just for a vacay), I wanted to include some info about the island for you!

Vashon Island isn’t too well-known to anybody outside of the PNW (or even many people IN the PNW!), but it’s SUCH a gorgeous spot on the Puget Sound! It’s easy to access from both Seattle and Tacoma by ferry and is great for a fun day trip across the water.
