Eloping on the Columbia River Gorge?! You won’t regret it – it’s one of the most beautiful options for an Oregon elopement!! Brady + Noah’s styled waterfall wedding at Latourell Falls will give you ALL the adventure elopement inspo!!
Brady + Noah are two amazing, amazing humans!! I got the honor of photographing them recently at Latourell Falls, one of my fav waterfall spots in Oregon (which I’ll get to a little bit later in this post). I wanted to shoot some more content along the Columbia River Gorge to get some more inspo for my future couples, so these two came along with me for a little styled shoot and totally rocked it!! We had THE best time together.
I can’t show you these photos without highlighting the amazing looks Brady + Noah rocked. They wore matching suits from Zara, one a little more tan/beige and one a super light gray. Paired with simple black skinny ties, white undershirts, and black boots, these two cuties looked KILLER.
Zara has a bomb collection of men’s suits that you definitely gotta check out if you’re eloping – they come at pretty dang great prices for how high quality + good-looking these suits are!
And these two are both insanely talented artists – Noah is a web developer + fellow photog, and Brady’s also a wedding photog! Go support these two wonderful, talented humans + give them a follow at @noahbuscher & @bradybatesphotography!
I freaking LOVE the Columbia River Gorge for sooo many reasons. It’s actually the largest National Scenic Area in the country – how cool right?! There are so so many spots to explore along the gorge: Rowena Crest Viewpoint for amazing views + desert vibes, hidden waterfalls along the Historic Columbia River Highway like Multnomah, Bridal Veil, & Latourell Falls, greenery EVERYWHERE, river views, and more.
It’s seriously the perfect place for an adventurous Oregon elopement because of how many spots there are + how much variety there is – we can explore multiple spots along the gorge on your elopement day! Tie the knot in front of a waterfall, and then let’s find a desert location for some golden hour portraits. SO many opportunities!
Y’all, Oregon STILL manages to surprise me. After all my time living here. The lush greenery, dark rocks, and epic waterfalls still blow my mind. Latourell Falls has got to be one of my fav hidden waterfalls along the gorge!
It’s the closest major waterfall along the gorge to Portland, about 34 miles away. It’s pretty easy to drive to. I love that it’s just one singular, huge, epic waterfall. It makes for such a unique and stunning scenery, and the waterfall just *pops* soooo beautifully against the dark rocks.
And the falls are super easy to get to once you’re there, too! You just park in the little lot and walk a couple of minutes down a path, and bam – you’re right at the falls! There are lots of other little spots to explore around the falls, too: a cute little bridge, forested areas, etc.
There’s also an easy, 2.4-mile loop you can hike if that’s what you’re into! Let’s go on an adventure and hike around the falls for your elopement day after you say your vows right in front of the water.
If you want a truly epic waterfall full of greenery, mood, & PNW vibes, Latourell is the one for you!
