Sometimes I just want to play around with couples and try something NEW. This is why I did something a little out of the norm for me during this couple’s photoshoot at Gold Creek Pond. Keep reading to find out what that was, and check out what we captured!

Kai + Garret’s Laid-Back Session

 

This session was different than others. Kai + Garret actually model all the time for content days, styled shoots, and workshops – so long story short, they KNOW what they’re doing. And you can tell because they look freaking amazing in every single shot!!

But I decided to ask them to step out of their comfort zone and to NOT POSE. To just enjoy it, and be themselves while taking in this beautiful scenery. To do what they would do if they were going on a romantic date to the pond with each other, with the intention of being present with each other. And wow it turned out amazing!!

 

Plus I got some of my fav drone shots ever at this shoot!

About Gold Creek Pond

 

Gold Creek Pond is a beautiful pond in the Snoqualmie region of Washington! It’s an easy 1-mile loop hike that’s ADA accessible and even allows leashed dogs!

You get beautiful mountain views, tons of green trees (and amazingggg colors in the fall), and wildflowers in the spring + summer. It’s such a great and easily accessible location for a session if you’re looking to be by the water + in the trees!
