Nicole + Nigel’s Oregon micro wedding at Camp Lane was a vintage dream come true. These two planned a weekend that celebrated the past, present, and future all in one; honoring the journey that brought them here, embracing the beauty of the day itself, and looking forward to the new adventure they were stepping into. What a magical day to be a part of, and in such a beautiful part of Oregon that never ceases to inspire me ✨

Y’all know I’m a huge lover of thrifting, vintage pieces, and antique decor—so when Nicole + Nigel told me about the style they were going for with their wedding, I knew it was going to be incredible. From the charming, covered bridge near the campsite to the carefully-curated decor they thrifted and antiqued themselves, every detail was a nod to their passion for the past. Even their attire was vintage, with Nicole wearing the most enchanting lace dress, paired with a billowy veil and an old-fashioned white lace umbrella—I’m not sure I’ve ever been more obsessed with anything. Nigel wore a tweed brown jacket and grey trousers, the perfect match for his breathtaking bride and their stylish throwback to past years.
And the best part? Their love story continued with a cross-country honeymoon road trip after everyone left, hitting all their favorite antique shops along the way.
Some of my favorite little details from this day. . .
If you’re also inspired by everything vintage, you’ll fall in love with Claire + Jordan’s Vintage Western Elopement in the Wallowas—a storybook day that began in a charming boutique hotel, and ended with local brews at a nearby dive bar.

Nicole + Nigel’s entire wedding weekend was a timeless affair, spent soaking up the beauty of this serene location in Oregon while surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their wedding day began inside of the A-frame at Camp Lane, getting dressed side by side under the glow of the string lights that hung around the venue. Getting ready together is one of my personal favorite ways to see couples break wedding traditions on their elopement day; it’s such a meaningful time to get to be with each other, basking in all the emotions you’re feeling and having a few private moments before gathering with your guests.
Followed by our time exploring the area around Camp Lane, and taking portraits among the fall foliage + next to the scenic river, Nicole and Nigel made things official with an intimate campsite ceremony. Beneath the tall trees, dappled sunlight shining through every branch, they exchanged their vows, listened to readings by loved ones, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Every part of this ceremony felt natural and just. . . right for these two, like they’d been waiting to say “I do” forever, and when they did, everything suddenly fell into place.
A live band played in the background as their family and friends gathered in the lodge to welcome the newlyweds, surrounded by gorgeous tables set with vintage decor, glowing candles, and gorgeous floral arrangements. The soft, warm fall tones were everything, and just went so seamlessly with the rustic vibe of this reception!
Toasts were shared, the dessert table was emptied, and we made our way outside for a few final portraits at sunset, just before the bride and groom exited with sparklers in hand. A magical way to end a true fairytale of a day.
Throughout Nicole and Nigel’s day I pulled out one of my beloved film cameras, snapping a few photos here and there to add to their final gallery. And I’m so thankful that I did! The nostalgia of film photography beautifully matched the vintage vibe of their day, adding such a romantic and sentimental feel to their gallery that I fell in love with. Adding film to your wedding or elopement is ALWAYS a good idea, y’all.

With their love for all things antique, it was only fitting that Nicole + Nigel chose a historic campsite in Oregon as the backdrop for their special day.
Camp Lane is a dreamy woodland retreat nestled along the Siuslaw River, about 40 miles west of Eugene, and it truly made for the perfect location to host their intimate wedding. The main lodge is as cozy and rustic as you can get in the lush forests of Oregon, featuring a spacious dining hall and a warm indoor fireplace—the ideal spot for Nicole + Nigel to welcome their loved ones as they arrived for the weekend.
With multiple other lodging options (including a two-story A-frame, a rustic Adirondack shelter, a collection of elevated treehouses, and a quaint yurt), Camp Lane is the ultimate venue for multi-day weddings, offering plenty of room for guests to stay and make the most of their time with you. After all, who wouldn’t want to embrace the idyllic woodland atmosphere of the Oregon Coast with the people they love most in their lives?
Getting married at Camp Lane also means you have access to a variety of fun ways to spend your time, including a series of walking trails, horseshoe pits, an outdoor amphitheater, outdoor fire-pit, and even a sandy beach area by the river to explore. The views are to die for, accessible by just walking a few steps from the main lodge—which is amazing if you have guests that can’t hike, or you want to keep things relaxed.

Whether your dream day is inspired by the past with vintage details + rustic decor, or takes a note from the present day with modern floral arrangements + lavish themes, none of it matters as much as your love story does. As long as you hold what’s most important to you close to your heart—the people, the places, the pastimes you love—your special day will be one of the best of your lives.
