To the happiest, silliest couple ever, KATII + TAYLOR. These two are a freaking dream. Their day was so intentional: from their ceremony in the woods with their closest people, to board games in their cute Airbnb, to the lobster dinner in the tiny greenhouse. Yes, a LOBSTER dinner in a greenhouse!!

K + T created a day that felt so right to them both. And now, this is a day they’ll always be able to look back on and be so grateful for the slow-paced, carefree, amazing time they had. I feel so lucky to have been able to capture their photos + hang out with them!

The Woodlands House in Sandy, Oregon

Y’all I cannotttt get over this Airbnb that Katii + Taylor celebrated in!! It’s called the Woodlands House and it’s a vacation chalet in Sandy, OR, about 30 minutes from Mount Hood & 45 minutes from Portland.

The house sits on five acres of a private forest, meaning it’s surrounded by THE most gorgeous towering pine trees and fresh, forest air. If you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and be fully present in the amazing nature that the PNW has to offer, this is the place to go!

This home sleeps 7 guests, with 4 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2 baths. At $425/night, it’s a pretty perfect place to spend time with your loved ones, whether it’s for a night or a multi-day trip!

Any photographer would die of happiness at this Airbnb, thanks to the Scandinavian feel & mid-century design of the cabin. But make sure you get prior approval from the owners before planning any sort of photoshoot or event here!

 

One thing to note is that at the time of writing this article (November 2021), the listing currently says no elopements or weddings are allowed. However, I would reach out to the owners if you’re interested in having a small gathering/elopement celebration here, and see if they’ll allow it!
