Miranda + James hosted their elopement at one of the top Columbia River Gorge wedding venues – the Griffin House!! My jaw was on the FLOOR this entire day y’all, let me tell you! Every part of the day was filled with so much freaking intention, incredible views of Hood River & the gorge, and perfect examples of making your elopement day your OWN. From their stunning ceremony in front of the gorge to ending the day with ice cream, this day was such a blast!

Where is the Griffin House?

The Griffin House is a super romantic, private outdoor Columbia River Gorge wedding venue located in the heart of the gorge, about 40 minutes from Portland & right on Hood River! The venue showcases some of the best views of the gorge that you can get, overlooking gorgeous water + fields and surrounded by an old stone wall, rocky gardens, & majestic skies. 

What to Know about Getting Married at the Griffin House:

1. The venue can seat up to 175 guests
2. You can stay at the Griffin House, too – no need to book a separate Airbnb or hotel!!
3. You’re free to bring your own vendors – you’re not required to stick to their vendor list!
4. Your rental will include venue access from 9:00am to 11:00pm
5. You can reserve the venue for the weekend for your BFF’s & family to stay at!
6. Your package includes access to all of their rentals, such as chairs, benches, farm tables, lawn games, patio furniture, & more!
7. The Griffin House will provide you with a venue manager/day-of coordinator to make sure things run smoothly!
8. The venue has multiple ceremony & reception site options to choose from, including the house itself, the ceremony lawn, the welcome terrace, the reception lawn, & the eastern lawn
