Piper and Marty are such an amazing couple from the US that wanted to venture our for their day! They got married in Banff National Park, Canada which is one of my favorite places ever! I loved how laid back they were through the whole process. They were down with whatever and it was so refreshing and fun! I warned them that in September in Banff could be pretty nasty weather. But they didn’t care because it was a day about THEM.
It ended up raining and was freezing cold. Wanna know the best part? They continued on with the day, saying there vows under a beautiful tree with exposed tree roots all around them with their closest family and friends. The amazing Two Jacks Lake surrounded the ceremony and it was stunning.
One of my favorite memories was that Piper and Marty rented out this incredible boat on Lake Minnewanka for all there guests. It was an amazing experience. They ate amazing cheeses + meats, drank ciders, beers + wine and got to really have a adventure exploring all over this lake.
From there, we all headed to Where The Buffalo Roam Saloon, which was EPIC. It gave me total Great Gatsby vibes. Mirrors, hanging bulb lights, yummiest drinks + food ever. This was a wedding I will never forget. It was one where the bride and groom were so selfless and created the most amazing experience for there guests. We got some epic shots through all the weather chaos.
A good thing to always remember- no matter what happens on your day. Remember- It’s YOUR day and its what YOU make it.
Banff will forever be one of the most romantic places to get married! You photographed it perfectly and it felt like I was there!
